If you purchased your home years ago, you may be wondering, "Is there any value in me appealing my property tax bill"? 

The answer could very well be "YES"!  Take the time to check Fiscal Officer's website ( http://fiscalofficer.cuyahogacounty.us/AuditorApps/real-property/REPI/default.asp ) as noted on the previous page, to see what the County lists as the value.  If it seems a lot higher than similar homes in your area have been selling for, then you should consider filing a Complaint.
