The Charity Begins with Your Home Program is designed to benefit 501 (c) 3 Charitable Organizations.

The 501 (c) 3 can refer anyone, not just members, to Jim Cook, of Consumers Mortgage Corp (CMC), for their Mortgage needs, whether purchasing or refinancing.  When the loan closes, CMC makes a $300 donation to the referring Organization, in the name of the customer.  This creates additional donations to the 501 (c) 3 AND a tax deduction for the customer. 

The customer does not have to be actively associated with the 501 (c) 3, just referred to me by them.  They must advise me of the referral right up front so I can verify that we have a relationship established with the 501 (c) 3 and to assure the Charity receives the credit.

It is necessary for the Charitable Organization to provide information up front (i.e. copy of 501 (c) 3 license) before we can begin the program.
